Who we are

Jean Phil AI (jeanphilai.org) is an independent AI video generator that puts your face into Jean Phil dance videos. We are not affiliated with the creator of the Jean Phil character. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

What we collect

1. Account details — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture from Google.
2. Photos you upload — the face photos you add to the generator. You choose them; we never take them from your device on our own.
3. Videos we generate for you — the finished Jean Phil videos, stored in your account for 180 days so you can find them in My Videos.
4. Purchase records — which credit pack you bought, when, and the amount. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
5. Credit history — how many credits you added and spent, and which videos they were used for.
6. Technical data — basic logs such as IP address, browser type and error reports, used to keep the site running and to stop abuse.

How we use it

• To generate the videos you ask for and show them to you.
• To sign you in and keep your account and credit balance correct, including returning credits when a video fails.
• To process payments and answer billing questions.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and uploads that break our Terms.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They only get what they need to do their job:

• AI model provider — generates your video. For each video, it receives your uploaded photos and the scene instructions. It deletes the photos and the files it creates within 14 days.
• Video-processing provider — adds the scene's sound to your finished video. It receives the finished video, not your photos, and deletes it within one month.
• Hosting and storage provider — runs the website and stores your uploaded photos and finished videos.
• Payment processor — processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
• Sign-in provider — only if you choose to sign in with a third-party account such as Google.
• Email provider — sends sign-in and account emails.

These providers may process data outside your country. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our users or the site.

How long we keep it

• Videos and the photos used to make them — deleted automatically 180 days after the video is made. You can delete them sooner yourself (see below).
• Photos you upload but never use for a video — deleted automatically 180 days after upload.
• Copies held by our AI model provider — deleted by the provider within 14 days.
• Copies held by our video-processing provider — deleted by the provider within one month.
• Account details — kept until you ask us to delete your account.
• Purchase and credit records — kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. They contain no photos or videos.

Deleting your videos and photos

Every finished or failed video in My Videos has a delete button. Deleting a video:

• removes both versions of the video (with sound and silent) from our storage right away, and links to it stop working;
• removes the photo you used for it, unless you also used the same photo for another video you have not deleted;
• removes the video from My Videos.

It does not remove the record of the credits the video used, which we keep for billing, or copies our providers still hold: the AI model provider deletes them within 14 days and the video-processing provider within one month. We can't delete copies you downloaded or posted elsewhere. A video that is still being made can be deleted once it is finished.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to delete your whole account, at any time. Email support@jeanphilai.org from the address on your account and we will handle it within 30 days.

Photos of other people

Only upload photos of yourself or of people who agreed to be in the video. Do not upload photos of children. If you find a video of you that you did not agree to, email us and we will remove it.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember what you were doing in the generator, for example when you leave to sign in or pay and come back.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will also tell signed-in users on the site.
